| Description: |
SAP RFC - Library for performing RFC calls to an SAP R/3 system, in Ruby.
This library binds the C rfc library provided by SAP to Ruby to enable the user to perform Remote Function Calls in a clean OO manner.
Comprehensive support is provided for translating all SAP data types in and out of native Ruby data types, as well as SAP Data Dictionary structures.
There is full support for automatic discovery of RFC interface definitions, to make the process of coding for RFC calls as simple as possible.
At version 0.11 UNICODE support has been added - this opens up acccess for all customers with double byte requirements.
Other enhancements include the addition of SAP::Tools which enables the creation of RFCs on the fly - just define your interface, give it the ABAP code, and press the button!
Overview Documentation is available at http://www.piersharding.com/download/ruby/doc/saprfc.html, and API Documentation is available at http://www.piersharding.com/download/ruby/doc/index.html.
At version .05 support for registered RFC calls has been added.
SSO2 certificate support added at version 0.12
Interface, and structure caching added for performance gains at version 0.15.
