Description:

When it comes to managing your Ruby project, Reap is the "crème de la crème". Like a fine wine Reap has aged very well. Already covering an impressive breadth of features, she also continues to improve at an impressive pace.

Reap is a project and packaging assistant for Ruby developers consisting of a set tasks interfaced against a single (YAML-format) configuration resource. This makes using Reap exceptionally easy. As a natural consequence of Reap's functionality, she has evolved her own Rake-like task system. The system is largely compatible with Rake (increasingly so as Reap matures), and yet offers some distict advantages over Rake as well.
