Description:

This class makes it easy to use ma.gnolia.com in Ruby programs, useful i.e. in rails applications.

Magnolia is a social bookmarking website, like the famous de.licio.us but, in my humble opinion, better.

This can be very handy in a rails application. You could list all your bookmarks tagged foo. You could link to a random website tagged ruby with ranking 5, and even show a thumbnail screenshot of the website. Or, you could create something really cool like http://new-bamboo.co.uk/magnolia_blossom/ which uses ma.gnolia.com's web api (although not this library).
