RAA - deplate/0.6

deplate is a tool for converting wiki-like markup to LaTeX, DocBook, HTML, or "HTML slides". It is in this respect similar to tools like aft or txt2tags. It supports embedded LaTeX code, footnotes, citations, biblographies, automatic generation of an index, etc. In contrast to many wiki engines, it is made for "offline" use as a document preparation tool. It aims to be modular and extensible. This is the accompanying converter for the Vim viki plugin.

0.6 the standard markup for emphasis and code has changed (a module is provided for re-enabling the old markup); you can define simple regions/macros/commands inline without writing any ruby code
